In order to keep all our students safe, a signed parent note must be received by the Principal's Office in order for a student to be picked up instead of riding the bus home.  Parents may send in a note indicating that their child will be a pick up for the entire school year.  If your child is allowed to walk home or ride a bicycle to and from school, the school also requires a signed parent note permitting this.  As stated in the Student Handbook (link located under "Parents" above), any change in student transportation must be accompanied by a signed parent note. 

Our staff is vigilant to be sure our students are released to only authorized family members for their safety.  You may be asked to show ID to verify who you are.  When we have substitute teachers or staff in this role at the pick up line, they are more apt to require ID verification for your child's protection.
