A Special Visit

On Wednesday, December 16, 2015, three Halliwell children accompanied students from North Smithfield Elementary School, North Smithfield Middle School, and North Smithfield High School on a field trip to The Villa and St. Antoine Residence.  Residents at both facilities were treated to holiday songs from the high school's Chamber Choir.  Our children distributed wrapped, donated presents to every individual.  It was a moving experience for everyone!  The residents smiled from the gifts and visits.  Our students enjoyed their smiles and commented on their excitement.   One child even said, "I felt the Christmas spirit."  We were honored to be a part of this wonderful tradition!

Halliwell's Family Night "A Night Under the Stars"

We hope you are able to join us tomorrow, September 24, 2015, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., for our Family Night!  Students and their families will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, explore our campus, and vote for our new school mascot!  We look forward to seeing you!

Welcome Back to School!

It is so wonderful to see the classrooms and walkways of Halliwell filled with our students and staff.  Our Grade Three students were welcomed to our campus this morning in the cafeteria,  Grade Four children met their new teacher in the courtyard, and our Grade Five students congregated in the area between the Administration building and Cafeteria.  Beginning tomorrow, all students will meet in the cafeteria and be dismissed to their classrooms at 8:15 a.m.

We are so excited for a year filled with making new friends, learning new concepts, and becoming even more independent!

BCI Check

We LOVE volunteers and chaperones here at Halliwell!   In order to become one, you need a current BCI on file.  Please download the attached file, have it notarized, attach a copy of your license, and send it to our Main Office with your child.  We'll send it over to the North Smithfield Police Department for you!
